Ricky is an intelligent but unmotivated university student in the last year of his engineering degree.

He works at the local gas station with his friend Wiremu, passing the time by coming up with ways to steal gasoline from the money hungry petrol corporates.

On a wager from his friend, Ricky successfully steals gas from a rival petrol station, giving them the incentive to continue their anti-establishment antics.

As news of their crime wave leaks out, the media label them thieves and terrorists, whilst their peers celebrate them as heroes.

When a copycat follower is killed by a petrol explosion, Ricky and Wiremu decide to do one last heist before stepping down forever.
