Dedicated and driven medical researcher Dr Graham Gordon emerges from black oblivion with a start. Gordon has only the barest memories of his previous life, and no understanding of or explanation for the circumstances in which he finds himself. But as he stumbles groggily through a locked-down laboratory facility in ruinous chaos, his memory loss starts to seem like the least of his problems. The staff are dead, maimed or terrified by some calamitous event of which he has no recollection. With the memories of his life returning in flashes, Gordon realises that he is somehow at the heart of an experiment that has gone seriously wrong.

With displays in the facility counting down ominously to an unknown event, Gordon has only a limited time to connect his surroundings and incomplete memories to find those responsible for the disaster and get them to make it right - or make them pay for what they have done.

An innovative, first-person sci-fi mystery, AWAKE is the story of a man struggling topiece together where he finds himself, what has happened, and who he is - or what he has become.
