When sports and politics collide in a small city, the ramifications of one match will reach the rest of the world.

This is a Hamilton story, a New Zealand story about two men with different views of the coming Springbok match against Waikato in 1981.

Early in the morning a young boy watches his father as he leaves to get picked up for work, at the Bus Stop.

There he meets another man...brought together by chance, two men wait at the bus stop and over six days they get to know each other, with the tension building to the game at Rugby Park Hamilton.

The 80’s were made up of great music, hard economic times and violent clashes. This is a story of how two men deal with their personal beliefs. Can laughter and the human spirit shine through?
