The advent of time travel was said to be the greatest achievement of civilization. However, the consequences of such power were hidden. With the power of foreknowledge and hindsight the fate of worlds could be flipped on what coffee a man drank or if he dressed for a cold day or a hot one. Wars won by taking just one life, stock-markets crashed on the outcome of a banker's blind date, elections lost on the subtle curry stain on a tie.
Countless lives were changed, villains never destined to be born walked the earth in the place of unborn heroes. As war and crime destroyed time itself, a solution was found. A group of scientists created agencies to effectively police time and space. One agency tasked with protecting the present from the meddling future, and another to make sure history played out how they remembered it.
Young time agent Andrew Mung was hailed as a prodigy after his first mission, for killing a rogue agent. However burning in his mind are the consequences of his actions, killing a woman who's crimes he knew nothing about. After some time he took the opportunity to delve into her past, but not so far as to change her fate. What ensued was a man falling in love with a woman, yet only ever able to find satisfaction further and further back into her past. A man falling in love with the woman who was destined to die by his hand, never able to warn her for fear of changing his own past.
Can they fight fate to be together while protecting the fate of all of creation?
