The world is in wonder when the red giant star Betelgeuse goes supernova and will act like a second sun for the next few weeks. After it fails to cease at the three week prediction, people start to worry, but are assured by scientists it will be over soon. Four months have past, the world has fallen into chaos, we follow a typical New Zealand family and the toll it's taken on them, how there are surviving and what future lies ahead.
