Dawn breaks in New Zealand, signaling the start of another morning, and another episode of “Good Morning New Zealand!”, the country’s favorite breakfast show. This episode, however, will be like no other.

An apparently crazy man storms the studio and handcuffs himself to one of the hosts, claiming to be strapped with explosives & demanding the cameras keep rolling indefinitely.

As the man explains his plight live on air, the New Zealand public slowly fall in love with him. The ensuing media circus is one the likes of which our country has never seen before.

24 hours later and cameras still rolling, the hostage-taker has won the hearts of kiwis. But with the police finally closing in, this endgame is one which will have you glued to the screen until the final frame.
