A man is involved in a car crash and dies on the operating table only to be revived, wakes up with an extraordinary new gift, he is slightly psychic.
He realises there must be more people with gifts out there and sets out to find them so that they can work together to further develop their skills. He manages to assemble an eclectic bunch of misfits who all have some mediocre talent that sets them apart. Mr. Slow (able to move in ultra slow motion), Extra Ordinary Man (so incredibly ordinary that he is unnoticeable to the point of being invisible), and First Wave (offended quicker than anyone else so wins almost every fight by punching first) just to name a few. He is very impressed with his team and recognises that they could use their gifts for the greater good, to help their fellow man and stand up for the little guy. Together they are the Justice League of Aotearoa!
They put an ad in the local paper and are contacted by an elderly group from a retirement village, concerned about boy racers cruising their neighbourhood. The team successfully asks a young man to turn his music down a little. From then on they are swamped by calls from neighbourhood watch groups, spray painted dairy’s and concerned citizens. The team become local community heroes.
However the team are about to meet their archenemies, a team of villains lead by the closest thing in New Zealand to a super villain, Mr. Perfect. They plan their jobs so intricately and exact that an incredibly elaborate dairy heist might as well be the perfect crime!
Can the Justice League of Aotearoa halt the trail of perfect dairy heists; car robberies and petty cash box thefts and bring Mr. Perfect to justice?
