When Dan returns to his small town home from his big OE, there is much anticipation of this much loved man. But he brings with him more than stories and photos - he's engaged.

Amy is young, bright and English. Excited about the impending marriage in New Zealand and organising the wedding, Amy begins to discover the quirky differences and charms between NZ and English culture.

Unfortunately she also has to deal with the friends that Dan left behind who are none-too-keen on this new interloper. Amy's only refuge is the weekly netball match. The team is a curious group of misfits and she must win them over if she is to have any hope of being accepted in the community.
