Follow the story of two generations of one family set in two different time periods whose stories parallel exactly that of each other in the different time periods.
Witness the story that parallel’s itself in both the far distant past of New Zealand’s history and also in modern present day New Zealand.

Be amazed by the story of a great grandfather and his great grandson separated by vast generations of time, yet whose life experiences parallel almost exactly that of each other.

Follow the great mighty warrior Tama Makatu in 1860, whose alligences lie with the crown, as he fights in the great land wars that engulfed New Zealand’s past, on the side of the crown as “Kupapa” (Collaborator) and witness his internal struggle to reconcile his own place with his people, with that of his place with the crown, as he assist’s the crown with putting down his own people’s revolt and rebellion, over their imperial majestic rule.

Then be simultaneously, transported to present day 2011 New Zealand and follow Young Tama Junior, an officer in the New Zealand Police and witness his own internal struggles to reconcile his own place with his people, with that of his place as a representative crown officer of the law, as he assist’s the crown in putting down his people’s perceived plague of modern day crime, in a present day urban environment.

Be amazed and witness their choices made, that will impact upon not just the both of them individually but their entire generations past and present.
