La Donna che Balla da Sola

A “Kandar International” FILM
WRITTEN BY Ygnacio Cervio / Ashley Pitman

La Donna Che Balla Da Sola is an erotic horror movie about a girl (Susan) who after being seduced by a mute cabaret dancer struggles to survive as she is held against her will by the dancer and her sister who want to turn her into a mannequin.

La Donna takes place in the mid-'70s and tells the story of Susan, a young sexually unsatisfied girl that begins to feel interested in the female body after a show involving a burlesque dancer (Soledad) who performs a strip show which involves mutilated mannequin’s and her only companion a tarantula. Fate makes Susan and Soledad cross paths and after being seduced by Soledad Susan follows Soledad home. After making love Susan decides to return home with a mixture of guilt and satisfaction.

The return back will be an impossible task because she'll be plagued by a horrible character who wears a mask covering his face. From there begins a nightmare that Susan must face, but aside from this creature, Susan is oblivious to the devious plan that Soledad was only to seduce the protagonist to make a mannequin out of her and to use her as a performer in her show.

Susan manages to escape this torment, but after the amount of physical and mental torture which she had to endure Susan is unable to continue with a normal life.
