LACTIC

A “ADHDMi” FILM
WRITTEN BY Robin Gee

Duel meets The Stuff on the Canterbury plains.

1969 was an exiting time for a 10 year old boy fascinated by space and all its possibilities. Watching Apollo 11 and the first men stepping onto the moon on the neighbour’s black and white television was something Reece would never forget.
Born and raised in a small Canterbury town he would often dream about foreign places, travel and what lay in the dark, clear Canterbury skies. Every night during those lunar missions he would stand in the back yard and look to the heavens transfixed.
The Sea of Tranquility, The Ocean of Storms, Antares, Intrepid and Falcon he could name the ships, crews and landing sites with ease.

On April 3 1972 as preparations were well underway for Apollo 16’s launch...
the first of a series of strange metal balls was found on a farm just outside Tinwald.

Over the next month balls continued to be found throughout Canterbury….…later that year the Apollo missions stopped.

This was the start of Reece’s life long quest which would lead him to discover a terrifying threat to the world developing before our eyes...in our own backyard.

From 1972 to 1978 further sightings and unexplained events happened in and around New Zealand’s grain growing region. Cars chased by UFOs, the Kaikoura “lights” and... the arrival of the milk industry.

Processing plants and tankers storming along the motorways became increasingly common sights. The golden fields turned green as crop land was converted to dairy farming. What was the force behind the dairy industry and the obsession with dairy foods?

Based on true events this terrifying eco-thriller takes us on Reece’s journey as he discovers the reality of his childhood memories and tries to warn the world.
