Last Time I Saw Her

A “ Last Chance Pictures” FILM
WRITTEN BY Ian Craig Young Brown

Nathan Wallace has been having some trouble sleeping ever since his wife Avery died mysteriously two years ago. Each night he’s haunted by glimpses of his past life yet he just can’t quite remember what happened to the last time he saw his beloved wife.

When Nathan’s psychiatrist suggests a new experimental technique through a company named Memorium that might help clear out any mental block in Nathan’s memory, Nathan begrudgingly accepts. Upon arriving at the offices of Memorium Nathan is lead to a small office where he is introduced to Dr. Masters. Masters explains that Memorium has created a computer program that can link with the human mind and recreate memories where the subject can relive them in a virtual world. He also warns that this procedure is incredibly strenuous on the brain and that the any diversion from the original memory could do enormous damage to the brain.

Nathan brushes this off and accepts the terms of the experiment. He is lead by Masters to another room where an assistant is waiting by a large machine surrounded by screens. Nathan is placed in the middle of the screens inside the machine. Strapped down, Nathan is pumped full of drugs and his are eyes covered with goggles. He starts to panic but before he has a chance to change his mind he wakes up next to Avery on the morning of last day he ever saw her.

Now Nathan must use this last chance to find out what exactly happened to Avery and decide whether or not he can live without her or stay with her, locked in a crumbling memory forever.
