In 2030 the Earth was bracing for the impact of an asteroid the size of Australia, and NASA and the world space authority scrambled to assemble the best team of top guns to join mission U.S Hope Endeavor. On a remote New Zealand farm they found Joe Ryan, a former All Black and New Zealand Air Force test pilot captain that spent more of his time milking his cows than inside the cockpit of a jet.
“When we came walking down his drive, he told us to get the hell off his property,” says NASA Head Alex Roman, “He did not play by the rules. And that’s precisely why we needed him.”
One year later U.S Hope Endeavor was launched with humanity on the edge of their seats. And now for the first time the man who led this brave mission tells his story. How he saved the world. And how he dealt with his new celebrity afterwards.
“If you see one documentary in your life, make it this.”
