Reaching the end of her 20’s and freshly broken up with her girl-friend, easy-breezy, lazy Liz finds herself at a loose end. She is delighted when her childhood bestie, Nazia, comes to visit from Abu Dhabi, who decides to stay to escape an arranged engagement.
With her bestie back, life couldn’t be better for Liz. They are flatting together (along with a nutty Brazlian underwear man-model) and have just launched the business that they always talked about. But being back in Auckland hasn’t given Nazia the much needed break she had hoped for. Her ensuing restlessness finds her leaning on a rediscovered commitment to her faith that has her struggling with Liz’s sexuality– something that has never been an issue before.
