When Charlie is whisked away from the big smoke of abuse and neglect of his Mother and enters into what seems like an isolated world, he has no idea what lies ahead. Taking on the journey of a lifetime, back to his Maori roots in the heart of the North. His father introduces him to his love of the outdoors. Charlie is the youngest competitor in the infamous pig hunt, However a few steps off the unbeaten track leads to a discovery like no other, testing his friendship, mana and determination to try and hold on to survival and hope of a new best friend.
