In a post economic melt-down New Zealand, a new president has been elected to run the country. Because of his overwhelming popularity, his first act is to declare the presidential term at twenty years. Like every other recent policy, the New Press greets the announcement with enthusiasm and support. At last a politician will be free to make the changes necessary to save the country, say the TV stations.
One man, alone and running from a broken relationship and a shattered world, finds himself questioning the New Truth. Why do the masses believe the president? How is it possible that seemingly intelligent people are swayed by impossible dreams?
When the man discovers what is really happening, he’s presented with one chance to change the future. But it’s a long shot…
