Whilst researching the concept of lucid dreaming, psychology postgrad student Lucas Wells discovers he can control not just his dreams but real life too, by steering the path his consciousness takes through the infinite universes of possibility.

With the fate of the world in his hands, Lucas embarks on a journey of mischief, discovery and unanswerable questions. As it becomes clear his gift is not unique, he must decide whether or not to inform humanity of its extraordinary abilities, all the while grappling with his conscience, increasingly fragile grip on reality and doubts about his own sanity.
