Matilida (maddie as she liked to be called)hoped to make a fresh start with new friends and forget about the heartache of the past. maddies dad had recently died in a tragic accident and her mothers new job had brought them to this quaint little village, a new house boarded by golden fields and beyond them tall trees meandering in the wind, but beyond that who knew !! Maddies life would change forever, for an adventure beyond imagination was about to begin.An adventure that would have her meet Tobious( a gruff but likeable dwarf on a quest for what who knew!) his faithful companions,Sparkles,Sledge,Speckles oh and Ambreious.From what lives down the backyard to what preys the forest floor to what really lies beyond.
Maddie, Tobious and friends will be truly tested.
