Middle Man.

Freddy Walker is unemployed but he’s had some success writing a couple of self-help books. He’s a player, a charmer, the kind of guy that you don’t want to get involve with. He’s just too good to be true. His life is filled with lies and boredom.
On New Year’s Eve 2012 everything changes. Freddy watches from his apartment window as demons rise up and angels descend down. Person after person follows the angels to an old church where they are greeted by Jesus. Or the unlucky ones are taken by the demons. Freddy is determined to survive. Others join him in the fight. They start a resistance, they figure out how to get rid of the demons, and how to repel the angels. It’s not enough though, the angels and the demons are too strong, and they outnumber the humans. One by one the angels and the demons take the fighters and soon Freddy is the only one left.
Freddy wanders the world alone for five long years. Freddy is beginning to question why is the only one left? Is it his survival instinct that has kept him alive or is it something else?
