When Tony Sebastian calls the modelling world listens. Tony blew open editorial photography back in the 70s and ever since his genius has constantly celebrated the line between art and commerce. Now - an old recluse - he’s about to embark on his last and greatest photoshoot: Tony’s “State of the World” editorial.

Six excited girls leave for the ultimate booking: Isabella - sex kitten princess/society pages wannabe; Min - smart and knows that she can parlay this booking into lifelong financial security; Sasha - survivor who clawed her way out of small town hell in Odessa; Gunda - ice-queen model wanting the big brand contract and WAG status; Abbey - waif and grafter who just kicked a deadend boyfriend and heroin out of her life; and Melissa - the freaky, sexually ambiguous, damaged goods.

Six beauties who share one thing in common -

Arriving at a secluded island getaway, the girls are welcomed by Tony’s otherworldly assistant, Song Do, who treats them to a lavish party. As it winds down, Song Do says Tony has a special message - exiting to arrange the presentation. The lights dim. Psychotronic video plays describing Tony’s reasons and inspirations for the photoshoot, until the final beats explain why these six girls have been selected: Tony’s wrecked voice acknowledges that each year thousands of young women go missing and that is what is happening right now...

Bars descend. Doors lock. Dead quiet.

Each of these girls is an orphan. No one’s looking for them. No one will care if they’re gone.

The girls have been booked... for life

Now Tony’s desire to snap the exact moment of death - when the light is just ... extinguishing ... from the eyes of his model can happen. All framed inside the six nightmare scenarios he has envisaged. Tony can get his shot - six times.
