When a father and son are out hunting in North Canterbury, they encounter the most strangest of drifters, an Alien! Befriending the visitor they welcome it into the small country town and include it in many activities and tasks in the region, which with its 'out of this world' powers and view, turns into a rather interesting and comical time amongst the locals. Quite attached to their new intergalactic friend the town finds themselves split when the Alien brings heat to the town when government officials want the alien for them selves.
