In 1955, two unwed graduate students, from the University of Wisconsin, gave birth to a baby boy. They had to give the child up for adoption due to cultural issues.
Paul and Clara Jobs, a lower-middle class couple who could not have kids of their own, but with hearts of gold, decided to apply for the young child.
Initially they failed the application as none of them had a college degree. Paul in fact did not even graduate from high school. In the end, the birth parents agreed to give the baby to the Jobs under the firm condition that they later send him to college.
He would drop out from that college, but he would go on to revolutionize the world through his vision.
This is the story of the couple who adopted that boy, gave him a childhood of wonder, and the world a visionary who pulled them into the 21st century.
