It is modern day Auckland, a young maori finds himself in Mt Eden prison for petty crimes. Within weeks he experiences paranormal events, and has visions in his dreams/nightmares of the dead men who were hung in the old mount eden jail in relation to the public execution of Rev Carl Volker and James Fullon in 1865. The Maori Chiefs have a message for the inmate. Can he fulfill their wishes and what are they?. In a battle to keep his sanity the young inmate searches for the truth within the walls of Mt Eden Prison.
