Orphans

A “Outlaw productions” FILM
WRITTEN BY Patrick Nansen

Butch the cannibal, Samantha the bully, Kyle the free running axmen, Fiona a master thief and Grant their street wise leader. Five troubled teenage orphans who love to solve things in a vicious, gory way become furious with the vindictive and cruel proceedings occurring within the orphanage they belong to. The beatings, mental abuse and pain they suffer must now end. They seek and find revenge and take it to a whole new ‘fatal’ level. After committing their own mini massacre they escape from the orphanage presumably being the only ones alive. From the outskirts of Auckland to the big city the orphans attempt to start a new life of freedom but later discover they are a wanted bunch for their committed murder and escape. Not only are the Police after them but a full-size mob of gangsters attempt to capture the orphans for a large sum of money, yet nothing seems to stop these young rebels. Their ‘street survival’ and ‘Misfit’ mentality get them through any problems or enemy. Those who tried to stop them are well erased from the picture and the orphans continue being their wild, mischievous selves, successfully committing crime and breaking the law in order to survive. They are well hidden from the public eye and word gets out that they are extremely dangerous. The orphans become feared by many in the city, they own the night. Freedom is theirs for the taking, they feel as though nothing can stop them and they are absolutely right, everything and anything that seems to try and stop the orphans is brutally abolished..............................that is until the ‘Other Orphans’ step onto the scene. Let’s see who owns the night now?
