Peter Horatio Farman had everything anyone could have ever wanted: a dutiful and extremely tolerant wife, two wonderfully independent free-thinking children (who are still to learn respect for their parents), a job to die for and enough free time to fit under a postage stamp. His long suffering mother constantly reminds him of his short comings and second guesses every stupid decision he has ever made. She had such aspirations for him. He can’t help thinking he could have been more…. if things had only been different…

One fateful day everything changes when an encounter with a strange new neighbour sends Pete hurdling back in time to relive his awkward, late teens but this time with a twist. This time will be different. This time he knows the future. He won’t make the same mistakes again. He knows what ruined his chances of being one of the biggest sporting household names of his era and is prepared to do whatever it takes regardless of the consequences.

All is not as it seems and nothing is simple when it comes to meddling with the past. Once he monumentally blows his chances with his future wife, his old life starts to become very appealing and the only link to his comfortable future existence is the mysterious old man. How do you find someone who you only ever met once… in a future that may never be?
