When troubled, eighteen year old, Rue Alexander is convinced by her three friends to go away with them for New Years; she hopes it will set her on the road to recovery. However, on the first day of their journey they all find themselves in an unexpected location with no means of escape and little recall of how they got there. They also discover a stranger amongst them, creating suspicion and conflict. When individuals are forced to take a stand, Rue must believe that only she can determine their fate; or live to regret it.
