Helen Paxton, a self employed computer programmer who enjoys nothing more than her own company from the safety of her own home. Helen prefers to keep her life simple with her routines and processes dictating how her days pan out.
Helen's world is turned on its head when she is attacked and raped on her weekly trip to the supermarket. Helen is destroyed and distraught. Striving for structure and solace Helen discovers the list of registered sex offenders online and systematically proceeds to track down and murder the members of the list, irrespective of their reasons for being on said list. Pedophiles, sexual deviants, even a teacher who was accused of sexual assault, as revenge from a student for a bad grade. Helen's work hasn’t gone unnoticed and as she searches for her attacker, the law begins to track her down.
As Helen struggles with her vulnerability and her new murderous persona, she discovers the identity of her attacker. Torn and tormented she sets a trap for her demon. The hunter has become the hunted as Helen seeks to cleanse her soul.
