When low level Celso Conti of the Italian Brooklyn crime family "The Conti Syndicate" drops a dime, to keep his guilty self out of the pen, he is immediatley placed in the Federal Protective Service. Celso is whisked to New Zealand to live out the remainder of his life in bliss and tranquility. Celso sets up home and business in Kerikeri where he runs a fishing charter boat with new pal Wehi.

Everything seems to be going smoothly until Celso and Wehi catch the biggest Marlin in New Zealand history and become overnight celebrities. News travels fast and Big Ray Conti is more than pleased when he discovers Celso's new hiding place.

The adventure begins when Big Ray and his other henchmen Tony Two Toes and Joe the Mustache arrive in New Zealand to finish Celso off for good. The American crime family just want Celso to swim with fishes they didn'texpect it to be so hard while they come acquainted with Maori protocols and New Zealands ruggered landscape, from hongi's to hungi's to wild pig hunting and rugby rucking.
