A flock of gladiators are sent on a mission by the gladiator master to tell a gladiator who is at war that his brothers have been killed in a gladiator battle. They have to go into the middle of the war, and go behind enemy lines to get to him because he is battling behind enemy lines. Many of the gladiators are killed on the way, and this makes the gladiators want to succeed even more. The characters are very complex and there is emotion when one of the gladiators die because everyone thought he was just a genuine guy.
