An exiled Samurai warrior who lives in a cave away from his village is approached by his elders to defend them from a demon that has an immensely huge appetite for alcohol, murder and sword fighting. The villagers are upset by the occasional murderous visit from this demon and amongst themselves decide to ask the swordsman for his help, as his special skill may stop the uninvited visitor in its tracks.

After a lengthy sword fight the Samurai warrior succumbs to the demons strength and speed, impressed by the warrior’s skill the demon decides to offer him a deal rather than killing him.

The demon will reframe from visiting the village only if the samurai can defeat him within 10 duels. If he fails, the demon will continue his visits more frequently causing more violence and death.
