In the not-too-distant future, all kiwi species have all but died out. Only one, single specimen remains and its fate is the most hotly debated issue New Zealand has faced in decades.

Some want it cloned. Some want it freed. Some want to buy it, others want to sell it. Everybody has an agenda, and everybody wants a piece of the action.

Impossibly, the kiwi is stolen; but by whom? and to what end?

The single largest “manhunt” in the country’s history is instigated to reclaim the last kiwi on the planet, but what happens next… NOBODY could have imagined.
