Set in New Zealand in the year 2055. War has divested the world as our main resource petrol has run out. On (Date of New Zealand celebration) 2025 New Zealand was cut off from the world in a global black-out.

Word travelled slowly of the conflicts between countries.

In 2045 New Zealand received its last message from Australia. “They’re Here”, the last two words from our neighbouring country. It was (Date of New Zealand Celebration) 2050, 25 years since the global blackout and on this day, New Zealand, the last known country will begin to fall.

Mysteries ships head into Auckland and Wellington Harbour, at first they seem to do nothing until they open fire on the cities and the war begins.

The film is set 5 years after the invasion and follows 5 people thrown together by fate to survive this war and join in the resistance effort to hold on to the last known free country of earth against these mystery attackers

They will find that through war they will have to learn the pain of loss and the sacrifices for victory and hope.
