Joe has the perfect lifestyle, two beautiful children, and a loving devoted wife living a life of happiness in small town New Zealand. However with the introduction of new neighbour Karl, his idyllic life will be challenged.
When Joe sees a girl at Karl’s house, who later appears missing, Joe can only think the worst and feels his family are no longer safe. Karl quickly wins the hearts of Deb and the children, while Joe unconvinced, delves deeper into the mind of Karl. As Joe becomes obsessed with proving Karl’s involvement with the missing girl, he starts to lose all the things that he holds most dear.
Can Joe convince everyone that the fun loving helpful neighbor is a criminal or has Karl managed to pull the wool over everyone’s eyes and turn them all against him?
All will come to a shocking head in the gripping conclusion that questions what we fear in others is what we fear in ourselves.
