A child's toy, a handwritten letter, a warm embrace, sometimes love can reveal itself to people in interesting ways, for Samantha, it came in the form of a simple shell. At a bonfire party one summer night, Samantha meets Carson, a handsome young man who seems like the perfect guy for her. As their friendship slowly grows into something more, Samantha realizes she may love Carson, but knows that because of the secret she holds, that she would never be good enough for him. The Sand Dollar is a story of the beauty that can be found in anyone, and how when it comes to others, we shouldn't be quick to judge them, but rather extend love.
