Zombies the musical

Zombies have become a reality. They roam the earth. Usually they are removed by the army and dealt with quickly. The only problem is the army is getting smaller and the zombies are starting to out number the population. Derek is stuck indoors waiting for the army to round up a couple of zombies from his yard so he can go to the shop. He has his radio going and notices that they get more aggressive when he plays heavy metal and docile when he plays classical. He flips through the channels experimenting. He soon discovers that zombies intelligence and memories can be triggered by music and dance. The army guys arrive and Derek shows them his discovery.

Within days of his discovery, the army scientists agree. Music soothes the savage zombie. The army starts recruiting musicians, singers and dancers into the army. Derek joins Karaoke platoon. He meets Elvis Humperdinck, an Elvis impersonator, Kayla, a nine year old, ballet dancing, classical singer, Tyrone a rap artist and a few real soldiers in the group. Their mission is to clear all zombies from delta sector. Initially the mission is easy. Sing, dance and chop, but a couple of local hoons start playing heavy metal on their car radio, causing the zombies to go into a frenzy. To make matters worse the hoons think its hilarious and keep doing it.

While the soldiers try to catch the hoons, Derek receives a call that people need rescuing from the old folks home. Armed with what they can carry, Derek, Elvis, Kayla and Tyrone are ready to rock, but it won’t be easy. The rest home is full of old folks and most of them are deaf and wear hearing aids. Can they sing their way to victory?
