Madison has never treasured the most taken for granted of the gifts, life.
With her childhood spent in an orphanage and nobody there to show her how happiness feels like, she has taken the habit to live through her days without ever understanding the sense of it... that until a terrible incident forces her in the bed of an hospital, alone, incapable to move and apart from society, like never before.
But right when solitude takes more and more the shape of her new routine, Madison comes by an incredible discovery, there is something else with her.
When presented with the promise to be relieved from her pain, she lowers her guard, inadvertently opening the door to something darker than she could have ever imagined.
Her soul is plunged in an hell of suffering and fear, she becomes a tool absent of will.
As death spreads through the patients of the hospital like a plague, Madison understands that her body is food, a merciless creature is feeding on.
It's a run against time and a cry for help with no voice to scream.
