Nikkie is a housewife who has two small children and is trying to juggle returning to school. She has a life she is proud of and a husband she loves and admires. She is living the American dream, or is she? Her three-year-old son, Michael, suddenly begins to speak of imaginary friends.

At three, Michael is an intelligent and curious little boy. He has the same rambunctious spirit as other boys his age. His parents recognize this, and shelter him from the bad things in his life. However, one cannot always shelter their children from harm no matter how much they may try to. When his nightmares begin to become solid realities, his mother begins to have premonitions that coincide. Frustrated and confused, Nikkie calls upon her own Mother for advice. Through conversations with her Mother, Nikkie finds out some disturbing news. Nikkie’s Mother reveals to her that she, as a child, along with her daughter had inherited the gift of foreseeing the future, and as it appears now Nikkie’s son has inherited the same supernatural phenomenon.
As an adult, Nikkie had buried her mystical abilities deep in her subconscious, not wanting to accept or remember the past, but confronted with her young son, Michael’s spiritual encounters, she must find the faith to believe again – before it is too late. She will have to find her faith in God and believe in her spiritual guides if to save her young son from a tragedy that is about to unfold.
