Deathly Spirits

Good versus Evil as two deathly spirits fight over the life of a young girl living in a haunted house inhabited by the ghosts of a suicide and a murderer.

1944, a young woman named Summer commits suicide after hearing that her lover has been killed in the war in Europe. Her spirit becomes trapped inside the house where she died – unable to move on to the next realm of reality. 30 years on and a criminally insane father now lives in the house with the ghost of Summer. She watches, unable to help as the father threatens to kill his youngest son. With the house surrounded by police a standoff ensues. When the father holds his gun to the boy, Summer summons up her strength and pushes her energy into the father, knocking him sideways. As his grip on his son releases, the boy runs out and into the arms of his mother, waiting with the police. The father is shocked and confused at what pushed him.
He swings the gun around and the police fire, killing him instantly. As his spirit leaves the body, it becomes trapped inside the house along with Summer. The father’s spirit becomes a violent poltergeist causing problems for successive families who dwell in the house. Summer retreats into the attic and stays away from him. Finally, in the early part of the 21st century, a young family moves in with two working parents and a ten year old girl named Lavendar.
At first all is quiet but the father ghost soon starts terrorizing the family. Summer is visible to the young girl and the two become friends. As the ghost increases his attacks against the family, Summer begins to fight back, preventing him from hurting the family. The father ghost decides to kill the young girl and when the parents are both at work, the ghost attacks her. Summer comes to the rescue and a battle for the girl’s life ensues. Summer finally manages to defeat the evil ghost as a door to the next realm opens. As the evil ghost is sucked into blackness and disappears, Summer says goodbye to the little girl and then steps into the light, having earned a second chance at heaven.
