Lara has recently arrived in Devonport, but her new job at the local movie theatre is proving to to be as mysterious as her sudden appearance. As the inexplicable turns to the terrifying, Lara needs to uncover the truth behind pure evil; is it the secrets we keep...or that they keep us?
A horrifying tale of captivity and torture surrounds the theatre, and it appears to be more than just small town whispers. Doors locking by themselves, lights turning off for no reason, grisly, bloody deaths...but is this really happening or is Lara going crazy? As the demons of the theatre creep in to Lara's thoughts she begins to whonder whether this is real or whether it's all in her mind. And which would be worse.
Drawn to the place as one is drawn to somebody who knows the darkest parts of them; is there anything more scary than the evils within us and what we are capable of?
Lara's life begins to unfold in front of her on the big screen at the theatre; her past is literally flashing before her eyes. Glimpses of the years lived in lies, in sex, in betrayal are held out as a mirror of who she was and what she has become. As the evil taunts her, feeding off her secrecy, Lara creeps closer to the darkness, and history may all too easily repeat itself. The twists and turns start a rapid downward spiral into nightmarish depths that might be too hard to claw back from.
