A deranged horror director extracts his revenge on the film competition that rejects him.

A young man is convinced of two things. One: that’s he’s a brilliant director. And two: his entry is bound to win the “Make My Horror Movie” competition.

The sad fact is he is, like many young male directors, utterly delusional. He is lacking in two important skills talent and imagination. So when, inevitably, he doesn’t get selected he literally loses his mind and embarks on a killing spree where he targets the “talentless hacks” who judged the entries.

One by one he kills each of them in the style of a horror movie from a well-known franchise. His lack of imagination has become his greatest weapon.

Ant Timpson and Andrew Beattie are the last judges left alive and they must use their extensive knowledge of horror movies to escape final cut. As the final reel approaches Ant and Andrew will find themselves facing certain cliched death as they finally discover true love in each others arms.
