An imperial alien race has made Hamilton East the breach point for an invasion of the earth. As the plucky Hamiltonians resist and fight back, Hillcrest Tavern social rugby club member Gary is concerned his team mate and best friend Mark called him babe instead of mate when handing him a jug.
Worried and uneasy about the implications, Gary tries to confirm Mark's sexual orientation as they and others fight back the alien hordes on the streets of Hamilton.
Will Gary learn to put aside his prejudices before it's too late to defend the earth?
