The year is 1349, and Europe is under seige by what was known as the 'Black Plague.' History tells of the region losing over half of its population and the dead being put to the torch. However through the passage of time some things disapear, that is until the tale of a little known Knight of the Order of Hospitaller has been uncovered.
The unamed Knight of the Order found himself in the rise of the plague during his duties in England. Along with his brethren they tended to the dying and put the dead to the torch from town to town. Until one night, the town of Lancaster reveiled a new horror. The dead had not been put to torch for some time and left in the hills to rot-but the bodies have been reported to have disapered.
Quickly the Hospitaller Knights find the corpses-the living dead. The solution is clear-put them to the flame!-but there is quite a few to get through around Lancaster alone. Can they stop the living dead in England and the rest of Europe and put the potential 200 million souls to rest before they feed on the remaining living or fall into darkness themselves?
