Liv mends dolls in her private doll hospital which she shares with the haunted corpse of her dead Mother and a demonic talking cat called 'Mr. Black'.

Her Mother’s haunted ravings are driving her insane. Mr Black confides to Liv that the only way to exorcise her Mother is to get married but the groom must ask for her hand, otherwise it won’t work.

At first Liv seems to think this will be the simplest thing in the world to do, but soon discovers that it’s not that easy to fall in love. To find her perfect man, she descends deeper and deeper into the dark quagmire of delusional matrimonial depravity...
