Officer Daniel Parks follows an ongoing investigation surrounding the disappearances of children in his local area. A recent missing child report puts Parks on a close trail behind Mansfield, alongside Michael, the father of the latest victim child.

The only piece connecting each missing child is a Red Balloon, left behind at the scene of their last sighting.

Deep inside Mansfield’s basement lays the dread of every parent – a world created from the sole desire of a man who embraces what could only ever take place behind closed doors.

As the trail of the red balloon continues to leave its mark on the community, officer Parks finds himself under pressure from the families of those left behind.
