Former socialite Sophie McGregor is finding life tough after her father is jailed for fraud and embezzlement. Forced to down scale into the 'poor' part of town, she struggles to get by with the help of her still-wealthy boyfriend Cameron.
In the mean streets, Sophie finds there are other dangers. People go missing. There are rumours, graffiti and whispers about "The Hunt". Black cars drive slowly past her house, deep into the night.
She soon discovers the enemy is the elite rich, whose latest health and beauty fad is the consumption of human flesh. And who needs the poor, anyway?
Sophie's building is in the firing line and her cries for help fall on deaf ears because the police and the Government are all owned by the Powers That Be.
