THE CARETAKER

Three young horror fans become a part of their own movie, when a dare to film the caretaker's ghost on the 13th floor becomes deadly; in one of the tallest buildings in Hamilton.

HAVE YOU EVER GONE TO THE MOVIES TO SEE A HORROR FILM AND WANTED MORE THRILLS? Joanne and her boyfriend Logan horrifying ordeal started when Jacob challenged them to get out of the lift on the 13th floor after seeing a horror film in Hamilton central. Jacob has a small handy cam; he's keen to make his own horror movie like Paranormal Activity.

He's also a fan of other popular horrors. Logan and his girlfriend Joanne listen to Jacob talk about the scary rumours of a weird caretaker who had died in a horrifying electrical accident on the 13th floor. Jacob starts filming Logan and Joanne having a romantic moment while they admire the city lights at night. Jacob notices the sound of another lift coming up and alerts his friends. They should go and hide, so he can film the ghost coming out of the lift. The dark ghost of the caretaker is one step ahead of these three horror fans. It plays terrifying games with them all, without them realising it until later...when it could be too late! In the meantime the naive friends enjoy scaring each other while making their own horror-movie.

But creeping up behind them on the top of the wall and ceiling is a big dark shadow of a ghost. Later the boys get trapped in a storage room with a scary mannequin and boxes of sculpture-wax and a wax rat. Joanne lets them out, only moments later to get trapped with Logan and Jacob in the old caretaker's apartment for 7 days. Terrifying things happen to them all. Will they all survive the 7 days? Secretly there's a hidden camera filming them. The television set flickers on shows them being scared.
