Washed up on a remote island, Abigail is taken in by the local Lighthouse Keeper, Cedric.
Suffering from what appears to be amnesia, she attempts to reconcile memories and images in her mind that are coupled with bizarre visions and dreams.
The violent storm battering the desolate landscape makes prisoners of them both and any way off the island is impossible.
Isolation is the mother of strange bedfellows - Abigail finds herself drawn to the much older and enigmatic loner. Taking advantage of the time they must spend together, she seduces him and they embark on a passion filled tryst that fills the days they are constricted by circumstances.
As the storm abates and a connection with the outside world starts to resume, both Abigail and Cedric realise that neither really knows the other and perhaps all that glitters is not actually gold.
Struggling to cope with the emotional rollercoaster that is a new relationship along with more frequent and frightening visions, Abigail’s final attempt to get off the island is thwarted once again.
They are supposed to be alone on the island.
But is someone else present pushing them together.
Pushing them to search for their own inner truths.
They should be careful what they search for – they just might find the truth.
