Newlyweds Larry and Julie find an old house in a small town in Waikato. Situated on a large block of land the majestic looking house has 14 rooms and at a very affordable price, Larry questions why the place is such a catch. The real estate agent explains that the house had been abandoned for over 36 years and that it used to be an old maternity clinic. A Husband and wife that were once doctors resided in the house along with a few midwives that also boarded there along with the grounds man. Larry didn’t think too much into the reason for the house to be abandoned like that, but the sales woman hides the truth from the couple in order to sell the house. With a heavily pregnant Julie, Larry and Julie do not hesitate to move into the house thinking that it was the best deal they had come across. A month after moving into their new home, Julie gave birth to a healthy baby boy they named Reilly.
As soon as the baby arrives into the house, Julie starts experiencing strange nightmarish visions about the past owners of the house. She tells Larry of these disturbing dreams but Larry doesn’t take her seriously, thinking maybe Julie had been experiencing post natal depression. With no-one believing her, Julie is at her wits end and decides to consult a local paranormal investigator, Maxine, who comes to examine the house. What Maxine discovers is a hidden room steeped in a satanic Hoodoo haunting from the past owners that is now targeting Julie and her newborn.
To stop these evil spirits Maxine puts together the puzzled history of the house and calls upon a hoodoo expert with spiritual strengths to defeat the spectral menace that threatens to take the child from Julie. The execution of the hoodoo ritual to fight the evil puts an unexpected twist of faith in Larry and Julie and leaves them stunned at what comes next.
