In the mysterious misty haze of Rotorua, legend tells of an evil Taniwha 
who drowned a beautful Maori princess in a steaming lake. One twisted winter
night, a group of raven haired gothic beauties with a love for the dark side
attempt to raise her spirit, however nothing can prepare them for the evil they
have unleashed when the shapeshifting Taniwha seeks to reclaim his princess...

Meet Robyn, Sadie and Katy,three dark haired raven gothic beauties with a love for
the occult and witchcraft who are tearing around the North Island in a beat up
van, drinking, getting high and attempting to summon the invisible forces of
nature around them with a medley of spells and magic...

Along the way, they pick up Anita, a mysterious hitchhiker with a similar interest
in dark forces, blue meanies and an obsession with Maori mythology who
encourages them to stop in Rotorua for the night and attempt to raise the spirit
of Princess Kuirau, where legend tells of an evil Taniwha who dragged her down
to the bottom of a lake, and the gods above were so angered they made the
lake boil so the Taniwha would be destroyed forever...

Under a full moon on a dark and twisted night in the heart of winter the girls
employ their forces to raise Princess Kuirau, however nothing can prepare them
for the carnage and supernatural evil that follows as the shapeshifting Taniwha
seeks to reclaim his beloved princess.....
