They All Come Running

In the river town of Bastion, a series of grisly murders coincide with the arrival of an ice cream van and its enigmatic proprietor. When a young man witnesses a suspicious incident and his accusations fall on deaf ears, he alone must assume the responsibility of stopping a sociopathic predator.

A “Alex Lovell, Jason Crane & Eldon Booth” FILM
WRITTEN BY Eldon Booth

It’s 1991 in the small river town of BASTION.

COLE feels the limbo of pre-adulthood. Too mature for the video arcade and too young to buy beer, he devotes time to restoring a broken-down Datsun so he can leave Bastion for good.

One blue-sky day, the arrival of a mysterious ICE CREAM VAN creates a furore in the sleepy town. Before long, the soft-serve treats of MR FLURRY become a hit with locals – except COLE, who observes the town’s pack mentality with cynicism.

At the annual fly-fishing tournament and gala, morale is high in Bastion - until the submerged remains of beauty queen VICKI interrupt proceedings.

As onlookers descend into shock, the merry jingle of MR FLURRY pervades the car park. The macabre irony fascinates COLE and he fixates on the burly silhouette behind the wheel.

An obese boy rushes at the van to make it stop. COLE motions to friends to share in his derision but they’re preoccupied rubbernecking at the female cadaver. COLE then turns back to glimpse MR FLURRY speed off and a lonely, capsized sundae where the boy was last standing.

Anxious, COLE swings around to see if anyone else was party to his vision, only to find the horde distracted by the work of emergency services on the riverbank.

Two days later, the boy’s corpse is discovered in a nearby tree house. As authorities press for answers, COLE suspects MR FLURRY is the killer. However, as COLE didn’t technically witness the abduction, his suspicions fall on deaf ears.

As more bodies surface, COLE becomes determined to stop the sociopathic predator and in the process rekindles pride in his hometown and its citizens. However, the closer he comes to proving his theory - the further COLE places himself and those dearest to him in mortal danger.
